I crossed digital paths with the owner of The Shiny Squirrel this morning and was pleasantly surprised at the offerings in her shop. It’s a tightly-curated collection of emerging artists and designers, and the blog is equally impressive (fingers crossed for a switch to Tumblr at some point!).

Presently in Asheville, NC, and the taxidermy is rampant. Sadly lacking in velvet, though.
This has been sitting in my Drafts for a few weeks and now I’ve forgotten the context of its discovery.
As my birthday approaches, I’ll take this opportunity to share my Svpply with you—consider it the ffffound for goods. Sadly, most of my bookmarked items fall in the $200-500 category. I do wish it allowed for personal recommendations of items, even something so subtle as a tiny heart or plus next to the items you own/recommend.
Between this and eBay Finds, I’m really laying all my cards out on the table.
On the way home a man asked “Did it hurt?” and he actually meant the Minnie Mouse tattoo, not when I fell from heaven.
I’m still sticking with my Big Apple Red for now but settled on a “reverse French” with hot pink in the half-moons and glitter on the thumbs. Also, my nail army grew one stronger with the last visit.

“Do you have a body? Do you put food in that body? If you answered yes to those questions (and let’s hope you did) you should consider the benefits of irrigation.”
I’ve still got a few weeks of 25 left to enjoy but last month’s bike wreck prompted an early birthday gift from my aunt and her family. Look at my new things! A fluorescent bike vest with reflectors, the entire Archie proposal series, and a rhinestone bracelet I listed on the eBay Finds site. There was a jewelry box too! This is kind of a killer gift.
But this isn’t even the real purpose of this post! My older brother turns some ghastly age today. He’s having a Harry Potter-themed party. Please wish him well.

The source player loops the song, so I guess I’ve listened to this 4 times already.
