Nearly 5 days ago, I set out to make these apple jellies.  The recipe calls for 2 nights of drying time, but these babies held out 4 days and 2 rounds in a 150-degree oven and some parts were still mushy.  Fortunately, there were enough firm bits for a respectable yield, which you’ll see above.
