Today I intended to browse a few bookstores and then head to Whole Foods, but got caught in a crazy storm with about 10 other people under some scaffolding.  Most of us were silently angry at first because we were all substantially drenched and unable to avoid the rain no matter where we stood (it was that windy).  After about 10 minutes, it was more of a game to spot the rare person braving the storm, running down the street in a torrential downpour, which was funny enough to make us look at each other and laugh together.
Then when I got to Whole Foods the fire alarm was going off and the safety lights were flashing but not a single person seemed to be altering their course, so I didn’t either.  I made a burrito for dinner.
