“DestroyFlickr explores alternative methods for viewing and sharing Flickr content.”  Jonnie Hallman has created a program to allow you to view your Flickr images on a dark, neutral background, so as not to interfere with the brighter white we’ve grown accustomed to in Flickr.
Interestingly, it’s a freeware application that runs through Flickr (why do they allow such a seemingly oppositional app to do this?).  My one initial complaint is that in every screen-grab of DestroyFlickr, the images are all crooked!  Perhaps he’s merely showing the free-form capabilities of the program, but I can only hope there’s a button to straighten your mess.
