In a recent email thread, the Grimm kids were discussing the typical/recent arguments we’ve been in with friends.

Tommy to Me, Adam:

I remember in Minneapolis having a 1-2 hour heated argument with one of my apartment mates about whether beauty is purely a subjective judgment, expressing feelings/perceptions disconnected from reality outside of internal states, or an objective reality, about which there could be meaningful, constructive dialog. It was pretty intense and emotional and my friendship with that guy was never the same.

Adam to Me, Tommy:

Sometimes Randall and I argue about what kind of beer to buy.
